Re: Designation to Use Your DL Picture
There is a lot of confusion on this matter at DPS it is a lotto whether you get new pictures, DL photo or old CHL photo. I think they use the one that takes the least effort.

Re: Graham introduces background check bill with NRA backing
What are the disqualifying mental illnesses and who determines who has those disqualifying illnesses? Does it matter to what degree someone must be ill with one of the illnesses to disqualify them from gun ownership? These details need to be ironed out before an informed decision can be made about ...

Re: Graham introduces background check bill with NRA backing
I have no problem keeping the them form buying guns as long as due process is followed, however will this loss of right be forever or until cured(not controlled with meds) if not forever is there means to be removed from the NICS system or is this going to be like the no fly list? It needs to be fi...

Re: Graham introduces background check bill with NRA backing
Maybe we should all take a deep breath and look at this logically. 1. Read this news article and watch the video: http://firstread.nbcnews.com/_news/2013/03/06/17213403-gun-control-efforts-hit-senate-snag?lite" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; 2. Keep in mind many states do no...

Re: Went to the Taylor today.
In retrospect, the very best option would be your actual holster with Ring's "blue gear," but I don't have a trainer in the models I actually carry...and that's not a viable option unless you really have a use for the things--they aren't cheap, given what they are. I was going to say an a...

Re: Went to the Taylor today.
I went to the Taylor and had my CCW on. In hind sight I should have unloaded the firearm and left the bullets in the truck. So I went in and while getting ready to have my suits altered (I lost 80 lbs. YEA!!!) I wanted my suit pants fitted for carrying my firearm. So I showed the tiny Asian lady my...

Re: Went to the Taylor today.
Technically a violation of 46.035a for intentional failure to conceal. Not that I'm criticizing you for it, just noting it. I would probably have brought an empty holster in to tailor around, I guess with some similar sized object in it. Anyway seems like it worked out. Not necessarily. If you go t...

Did you fill out the original app online? If so you received an email with a bar code, the number below that bar code is your application number. Did you take your CHL class, send the CHL 100 and send your photos too? I mailed the application through postal service. I sent everything except finger ...

Re: Outed at work!
The biggest problem was what if the customer she had been telling this to was an anti-gunner and took it as a true threat and called the police saying I had threatened them? :fire That would be the last thing I need the night before valentines! What if what if what if. If you have time to worry abo...
