I'd say this along with as many hi-cap mags as you can buy...KFP wrote:Buy guns that you won't be able to buy in a few short months.

Re: What to do when Obama wins?
I hope I didn't come off as a 'gun nut' or tinfoil hat wearing fool...just looking to spark up the discussion and it appeared to work! YAY!
I, too, do not think this will ever happen as I truly believe gun owners are one of the 'silent majorities' and a lot of feathers would be ruffled if something like this were to happen...

Re: What to do when Obama wins?
We're the law abiding citizens of New Orleans 'gun nuts' when their guns were being confiscated? I think the OP had a valid question...FIFTY wrote:You're correct MBGuy. There never was an answer to the original question, and for good reason. Talking about burying your firearms, and government confiscations makes rational gun owners look more like gun "nuts".
If it were to come to fruition, would you just turn over your guns?

Re: What to do when Obama wins?
All this being said, I'd like to go back to the OP's post, but reword it with "If" Obama wins...
What do we, as gun owners, need to worry about? Will there be people to collect our guns? Or will the market for AR's (and other guns deemed AR worthy) just cease? We can all say pull a Heston and say "From my cold dead hand" but when it comes to go time, how will we act? This genuinely has me worried. I trust Palin/McCain will win as people are starting to see the true Obama (if they haven't already), but there always needs to be the flip side of the coin.
