I checked the mail box before leaving to work a couple of hours ago and lo and behold, there it was, an envelope from the State of Texas with license inside! Now for tomorrow, the IHOP and Wally walk event will take place as planned!

Final stats on time frame of entire process:
4/26 - Class Completed
4/28 - Mailed App. To DPS
4/30 - App. Rec'd By DPS
7/28 - Rec'd. PIN, Processing Application
8/21 - Application Completed - license issued or certificate active
8/25 - License In Wallet
Total days = 118 days

Congrats taurus, I'm on the same timeline you are other than I rec'd my PIN July 28! Maybe 2 weeks from now I'll have a completed application!

Sent DPS an email (?PIN?) today and they replied back today, here is their reply:
Your application has not been entered into the system. It is likely going though the processes required before entry. When a completed application is entered you will be sent a confirmation letter with your PIN.

64 days and I'm not even in their darn system, this is major bull , 60 days for completion my azz !!!!!

Update today July 28, rec'd PIN in mail today (day 90), logged on and "Processing Application"! So I wonder how long now?
