I also bought my first pistol at 21. I'm 22 now and just got my CHL issued. Between these times i have bought 4 pistols, its addictive :coolgleamA:

Called DPS today, and was told..."License Issued!" She said give it 5 to 10 days for the plastic to arrive. I'm shooting for 2! However the website still says Processing App.

emailed the governor's office yesterday. got a response today saying that they will check into the DPS on my behalf. fingers are crossed!

Day 111 for me today. Called this afternoon and was told they were just waiting for the federal background check which consisted of fingerprints. They said everything else was in.
