Re: Wally World Walk wasn't as nerve wracking

Yeah. I took pics. She learned that even though it printed slightly, nobody is thinking outside their little world and even began to notice. http://i567.photobucket.com/albums/ss115/bdunn7812/Mobile%20Uploads/image_zps754bxt4o.jpg http://i567.photobucket.com/albums/ss115/bdunn7812/Mobile%20Uploads/i...

Re: Wally World Walk wasn't as nerve wracking

She did great. She's actually packing my edc, a G26 IWB. Now we start the task of finding the true perfect (haha) carry pistol and method for her. Fun times ahead!

Re: Taking the CHL class again for fun

Well, it was interesting but not super fun. At least it will give us some time to talk circumstances, scenarios, etc. also impressed to me that I prob should pony up for [Pre-paid legal service]. Shoot smart has pretty stringent safety rules. I haven't shot on an indoor range in years so I had forgo...

Re: Taking the CHL class again for fun

Wow! Lotsa replies. I actually live 90 minutes from the gf, so I'd just be hanging out at her house if I didn't go to the class. Just thought it would be cool to support her. I'll probably discuss with the instructor. I'll be taking it at shoot smart near arlington in the morning. I've actually take...

Re: Taking the CHL class again for fun

It's free though, and I do need to get caught up on current laws, etc. I haven't been super observant of law changes, etc as of late, and I know a lot of new stuff has come down the pike. Mail in renewals are a lot more convenient, but they have downsides as well.

Taking the CHL class again for fun

I've had my CHL for years, and my girlfriend is taking hers this weekend. Her friend that was going with her flaked out, but paid for the class, so I'm going to go for free. Just to get caught up on new laws, and to spend a little time with her. My question...I want to make the shooting test more fu...

Re: Accidentally walked in a place that has a 30.06 sign

Good luck finding a 30.06 sign in the proper format. I've been carrying for 6 years and have only seen one or two outside the normal excluded areas. But yeah, if you find yourself in a forbidden area, you have a choice to make. Concealed is concealed, casually leave to secure your weapon in your veh...

Re: Shoot Smart private suites

Thank you guys so much for this review. I wanted to take my girlfriend and her 15 year old son shooting for his first time. I've been having a little difficulty bonding with him, and trigger time has helped me bridge gaps before, thought it might again. I looked on here first for some suggestions, a...

Re: Texas State Fair CHL Question

I'm going Sunday with my 6 year old daughter. I usually wait for the wand to see if they catch it or not. If they do, I just ask to speak with a LEO. It just amazes me that the wand catches it about 50% of the time in my experience. That makes it a lot more unsafe than no security at all.

Re: Kimbers, possibly other brands

I am sorry to hear of others having health issues. Cancer has been a cruel thing to so many people. I wish you the best in beating it! However, I'm also interested in a Kimber if you decide to sell. I've been hunting for one for my brother in law's graduation from law school. He's been wanting to ge...

Hiring Production Welders - Sherman TX

Thought I'd post this here and see what happens. My company is in serious need of people that can weld. Farm boys, production welders, job shop guys feel free to apply. Must not be afraid to work hard and get dirty. We are running a 9 month backlog on product and can't get it all out at our current ...

Re: "long" shirts for concealment

I conceal in the duluth trading T-shirts, long sleeve T-shirts, and henleys daily at work. My job requires a lot of physical movement, but I've yet to be made. These shirts are also very well made and hold up well in a machine/welding environment. They're comparable to Carhartts, but 3" longer....
