Those look very nice!HighVelocity wrote:Thanks! Yes, the Trophy Match and the Champion are both wearing Alumagrips. Also notice that the GI has XS big dot sights on it now. I can actually see them.![]()
The GI is wearing Kimber rubber double diamond grips provided by our own Seadawg221.
Yep! I am very pleased with the refinish work!jbirds1210 wrote:Very nice Terri......sweet! From this angle it looks like they did an awesome job! When are we going to shoot it again?

I happen to have a set of those stock thin rubber grips...what will you trade me for them?HighVelocity wrote:It's a Springer. I'm still experimenting with the grips, had at least 4 different sets on it so far. I really want to get my hands on a pair of those black rubber double diamond grips that come stock on some Kimbers. They don't have any logo on them so I think they'd look pretty good.
Jason, you only put a couple mags through it. I think you just need to shoot it more.![]()
The trigger is much better now than it was then too and that makes a big difference.
I'm really torn on the sights though, What to do, what to do.....
Yes, it is a S & W but it is a dagger (sharp on both sides), I really did not realize that it was not legal for carry until after I bought itflintknapper wrote:Nice pistol!
Is the boot knife a Smith & Wesson "HRT"? It looks similar to the one I gave my daughter for purse carry. If so, it has a "false edge" that keeps it legal for this state (along with blade length). Small and light.
When sharping, I found it didn't take a really good edge...but its basically a thrusting weapon anyway. I wish they would have made the blade just a tad thicker too. Its a sturdy knife, but a little more weight out front would make it easier to roll over into a reverse grip.
I may get another one, its an excellent knife overall for the price.
