We were Safety Patrol Boys (and girls later). The program was sponsored by AAA and we were the early crossing guards for schools before they felt they needed adults for the job. /sigh It was considered an honor in my school to be on the Safety Patrol. Unfortunately I was always getting fired from the patrol because of my less-than-stellar behavior at school.

Maybe I DO need a belt-thingie like that, just to help me overcome that traumatic childhood experience that KeithB just dredged up from the depths of my memories.

Yea like a bad guy cant buy one. Also defeats the purpose of CCW doesnt it? That is more ridiculous than a CHL badge. Why dont they just make a fanny pack with CONCEALED HANDGUN printed on it. Maybe thats next. Just stupid.

Though I cannot see buying or using one of these I believe that if I were an LEO and I saw someone wearing one of these bizarre accoutrements I would probably at least pause before I took a shot. They probably would serve their intended purpose.
