You are good to go, you must provide the court documents showing the completed parole and charges.

I was charged with 2 felony counts of possession of a destructive device (oops) :leaving They were pleaded down to class A misdemeanors. I have had my CHL now for about 3 years. This happened for me about 12 years ago now in another state. And I found out through the DPS that I actually had an active warrant for my arrest in Oregon, they said no biggy doesn't apply to Texas. I have since cleared up the warrant but it didn't stop me from getting my CHL.

I was actually really surprised to tell you the truth. Now there is the whole legality and technicality if under federal law if I can actually even own a handgun because I was actually indicted for a crime punishable by more than one year in prison. Go figure... :roll:

This was in a small town in Central Oregon, if this had been in Texas and anywhere near the current time period I would be spending the rest of my life in GITMO for terroristic charges in violation of the patriot act with conspiracy added to it.
