Yep, there's a world of difference in the better knives. I have three Benchmades and my favorite is my Zero Tolerance. I've tried Emerson too but my ZT opens like an auto (but it's not). I have some ESEE knives for hunting too. I've been tempted to buy a Microtech auto but haven't wanted to part with the money yet.
