The carbon 15 would need to be in a non standard caliber. Neither 5.56mm nor 7.62mm is large enough to pass the .32 cal minimum.

Unless the weapon is unsafe, what authority do you have to restrict what they qualify with?I understand that you can qualify with any PISTOL 32 auto or above, technically the TEC-9 is classified by the BATF as a pistol...but I still felt it would be unfair to allow so I did not allow the student to qualify with the TEC-9.
What do you think? Did I do the right thing? And if I didn't would you allow a student to qualify with it.
Can an instructor refuse to allow 1911 because they have better triggers than a DAO pistol? Isn't that an unfair advantage?
What if someone has aftermarket fiberoptic sights? Is that an unfair advantage over a student with OEM sights?
