oh yeah i forgot.
also, most if not all of my class has not even registered online or gotten there fingerprints.
do they have to do this all before taking the class cause i see no reason why they would have to.

ok. One last thing.
Do I have to tell the DPS of any class I am going to teach ahead of time becuse that isnt going to be possible unless I email them and let them know.
Im hoping to have a class set up by the 21st or so and that doesnt give me alot of time

ok. So here is the million dollar question.
If I teach a class of 5 on 12-28-2013 and we cant get to the range to do the range time until after the first, will that be acceptable.

And can I ask one question. If it is true that people getting there CHL can renew online and not have to see an instructor I would like to know who's lame idea was this. And also who's idea was it to have to have the approval of the NRA pistol course to get and keep your texas CHL instructor license...

Well I didnt get that memo from DPS. How nice of them. So does anyone have any instructor material to teach the 4 hour course or any info relating to it so that I can ue it to teach one course to about 8 people. Ill teach the course before new years and then just let the instructor go since this is ...

ok. I want to know how to check my status. I took the instructor course last year in july. But I heard that you need further training to teach the new 4 hour course. I also need to know when I would have to do a renewal as well. I have some folks who want to get there chl thru me and I havent taught...

I carry chambered, hammer down, safety on. There isn't one good reason that I can think of to have the chamber empty. If its for safety then you shouldn't be trusted with any gun.

I got my first one from tomball pawn and it was a american high standard. Paid $600 for it and by the time I was done with mods and accessories I was at $1100. Shoots great and its made right here in the USA in Houston.
