Re: HB 2756 Open Carry bill reported favorably

I find this very interesting that a person who holds the top position at LSCDL, and ultimately needs the support of every Texas gun owner, would display the insulting antics that Mr. Redneck has on various forums. Pathfinder made some good points; unfortunately they have now fallen on deaf ears, credibility and trust for this organization has been forever lost through the actions of their president.

Although I am supportive of the cause the method of delivery is the deal breaker as far as any support to the leadership of the LSCDL group is concerned. It is now blatently obvious that they cannot be trusted to look out for anything but their own cause...... which does not include CHL holders and protecting the rights we currently have today…..

Re: HB 2756 Open Carry bill reported favorably

"All States except Texas, Arkansas, Florida, Illinois, New York, Oklahoma and South Carolina, (Washington, D.C. not a State) have some form of open-carry."

Thanks for making my point, I surely hope that nobody believes this as fact and open carry is even remotly permissable in any state that does not specifically allow it. Before locating to Texas I lived in Mass and even had a handgun permit, very, very tough to get in a ultra liberal may issue state. I can tell you that if you open carry in that state you will have a major problem and WILL end up arrested and convicted. It is not being truthful when people claim that open carry is permissible in 43 states and use that against states such as Texas. Propaganda comes in all shapes and forms, people tend to use it to promote their causes; this 43 state opinion is exactly that, propaganda without any merit that could have a disasterous result for those who take that as gospel.
