I know a lot of people hate the disassembly reassembly of the mk iii's. I think it's overblown. It just has a couple of "tricks" in the process. Once you know them, I don't think it's much more difficult than, say a 1911 or ar-15.

Find a good video on youtube the first time. Watch it once before you do it for real. Do it for real while referring to the video as needed. Then dissassemble and reassemble 5 or 10 times in a row and you'll likely never have a problem.

This coming from a person that bought a used mk ii, used, sans manual. This was before internet. Ended up taking it back ftp the shop I bought it from in a paper bag in pieces. After I did it a few times, never had an issue.
