Decided to call Lucio's office - good conversation with a staffer - said that Lucio will only vote yes if the entire Kingsville university is exempt (said the High School and the university are so integrated (cafeteria, common areas, etc.) that there is no way to effectively segment out those two campus. Staffer stated the current amendment would allow certain buildings to be posted (but not the whole campus).
Lucio will vote "no" unless he can exempt the entire campus. I am sure Wentworth is concerned that if he allows that exemption then every other university will want some type exemption . . . so, it does not look good right now.

So, based on the Dallas Morning News (Tuesday morning) Lucio is the only possible "yes" vote that would move us from 20 to 21. And, Lucio will only vote yes with an opt-out provision I am wondering if this is the end of the line.
