
A few months ago I came across a really neat idea of a vehicle safe in the console of my truck. Alas, the standard safe did not fit in my console. I then tried the smaller safe. It fit the console just fine but would not hold the P7. This was due the position of the holster and the butt heavy pistol design.
After a bit of design work with the safe's builder, he came up with something that works for me.

Using 3 #12 x 2" sheet metal screws, it locks down pretty tight.
