CHL Classes on Sunday? (Houston Area)
I am trying to get the SO her CHL, and I am not going to let her go alone. The only day I definitively get off right now is Sunday. The only place I've found so far is Hot Wills in cypress. I did my CHL class there and was pretty happy with it, except for the fact I though he went a little heavy on ...

Re: Carry options for wife- Need opinions
Kahrs do look nice for single stack CCWs, but I shot my friends CM40 and it couldn't go more than a few rounds without a FTF, with a three different kinds of ammo. That coupled with some of the things I've read kind of scares me.

Re: Carrying at the Rodeo??
We the state of Texas trust you as a CHL holder to carry a handgun for self defense....but only sometimes in certain places..... i'm sure i'll be ridiculed for this but when you really stop and think about it where is the logic in this? i think the number one issue that needs to be fixed is carryin...

Re: Carrying at the Rodeo??
Yes parking is a nightmare there. I would hate to walk all that way to find that I need to turn around and go back to my car.

Carrying at the Rodeo??

Re: Carry options for wife- Need opinions
Also if any of you see the current unicorn for rent (Glock 42) in Houston let me know. Maybe you've shot one by now but Top Gun has one for rent.. I didn't shoot it but I held it as I am looking for a carry weapon for my SO as well... I admit I am a Glock fanboy, but the gun seems to have an identi...

Re: Crossbreed Supertuck Issue...
Yeah forget 5 o'clock carrying... It hurt my back when sitting and driving and I was all paranoid pulling my shirt down so it didnt ride up. I am carrying at 330 now and it's much better. When tucking in at work, I used my iphone otter box belt clip to distract from the slight bulge in my waistline....

Someone already emailed me back and I'm gonna send them a few pics later. Didn't really expect an answer on Saturday that was nice.

Re: Crossbreed Supertuck Issue...
Thanks for the input. The slack allows the weapon to moved "side to side" along the long way of the holster and not front to back if that helps any. The gun is tighter when being worn but not that much. When looking down the sights of the weapon while holstered you can see a small void. Th...

Crossbreed Supertuck Issue...
I recently received my order, a supertuck with combat cut, J clips and velcro clips. It is for my Gen3 G27 with Crimson Trace laser guard. although I was disappointed they left out my J clips and velcro clips, the holster seems well crafted. However, I have a concern. There is some slight lateral mo...

Re: What are stores in Houston to sell or trade-sell firearm
Don't waste your time. Whatever that little blue book says your gun is worth, they're gonna offer you half. And that's if its in like new condition. They have to make money too after all. Give Texasguntrader.com a shot... There's gunbroker.com too but I've never used it. If you are worried about mee...

Re: New Member! (ish)
I actually prefer the stock trigger since the travel is so short. Its an added safety to me. A while back I stumbled on a site that kept a running list of businesses that had 30.06 signs and if they were proper. Does anyone know what I am talking about or where to find it?

Hey guys I made this profile some years ago and never did anything with it. Anyways I have just received my CHL about a month ago. I decided all my full size and compact weapons were too big to carry IWB, so I went out and got a Gen3 G27. I have also ordered a crimson trace laserguard, and a Crossbr...
