Re: "Gun Buy-Back" program...

How about filing charges against Krogers and the other participants with engaging in the firearms business without a license?

Now there's a precedent I could live with!

Re: "Gun Buy-Back" program...

It seems to me that if there was such a law, he wouldn't have threatened you instead with a charge of tresspassing.

What you observed was a violation of "failure to obey LE", which never ends well.

Re: "Gun Buy-Back" program...

Remember the good old days when LE agencies would auction off their seized firearms rather than destroy them?

Of course, the best ones ended up in the collections of judges and high LE officials.

Anything is better than destruction.

Re: "Gun Buy-Back" program...

We should probably observe a moment of silence for the old S&W's and Colts that will be melted down.

All I seem to be able to muster is anger.

Re: "Gun Buy-Back" program...

That's the only good thing about Jennings, Lorcin, etc. and other clunkers.

Of course, the most satisfying deal is one where they give you cash and you can write them a letter telling them about the new gun(s) you bought with the proceeds.
