I used to wear bib overalls regularly and still do sometimes.

I've had good luck with a belly band. Once, for grins, I wore a Ruger KP90 and a 6" GP100 at the same time and no one could tell. In that case, I wore the band lower so the guns were at my side.

I never wore it inside my shirt, always outside.

I find it works better to wear the band higher and turn it so that the gun is in front. When I'm standing there with my hands hooked behind the bib, my hand is resting on the grip, but no one knows that. If they see the band through the gap at the side, most will think it's a back brace.
