Neither have I. If I knew I had pit bulls/other large dogs around, I'd pack my .357 . The mini-revolver fits my notion of minimum (but ever-present) protection for extremely unlikely events. Admittedly not for stopping power. They've been aptly referred to elsewhere as a "nasal inhalant from hell."

Same here. There's no reason not to at least carry something as non-obstrusive as that.

Besides, "no crime neighborhoods" like ours are that way until they're not. Just ask the Polanski Family above Beverly Hills, or the Clutter Family in Holcomb, Kansas.
