I'm not sure if this has been finalized and put into action. What are the specifics of the bill?

Re: WTB Ruger SR22 pistol DFW
I've bought 2 of these in the last couple of weeks. (one for the wife, then my mom bought another one) Can't beat $299 (~$345 after shipping and FFL fees) http://www.hoffgun.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=RUG3608&Category_Code=FEAT&Product_Count=11" onclick=&quo...

Re: gun shows - what am I missing?
Went to the Ft Worth Gun Show last sunday. I got there around noon and it wasn't that busy. It was a little expensive with $8 ticket and $8 parking. I will probably stick with the Dallas Show from now on. I like gun shows for a couple of reasons. Mainly there is a huge assortment of guns in one plac...

I can't wait until my 2yo daughter is old enough to shoot. She's already been to the range several times and doesn't mind the noise. She also looks damn cute in the big ear muffs

Re: Traditional Shaving (Safety Razors / Straight Razors)
picked up an old Gillette off ebay about 6 months ago. I've tried several different blades and they are a slightly different shave, but I can't tell much difference. (I only shave once a week anyhow) I just recently started shaving with cold water. It seems to get an even better shave. So, you might...

Re: Any DFW ranges that allow 12 ga steel shot?
Elm Fork in Irving has a Shotgun/Skeet Range. And they will let you shoot by yourself. They program a controller with a 3 sec delay and give it to you. Then you just go out and "throw" your own skeet. I have done this a couple of times to test a shotgun after having work done to it.

Re: public school teachers: feedback please?
The only mention of weapons I find in my district Employee Handbook is this: "Weapons The Crime Control Act of 1990 makes it a Federal offense for an individual knowingly to possess a firearm in a school zone. The term "school zone" means the grounds of a public, parochial, or private...

Re: Philadelphia attempts to restrict FL Licenses
It seems this is in response to people trying to game the system and cut corners (as far as cost, time requirements and other restrictions). Someone in the military should have a DL and CHL from where ever their "home" is. This would solve the "non-resident CHL" issue. Then, the ...

How much for the 4x8 sheet? Someone could buy a full sheet and piece it out and maybe make a little money. I just bought some from knifekits.com at ~$6 for a 1x1 sheet + $10 minimum shipping.

I get that all the time. Everybodies kid is an "angel" and couldn't possibly be at fault. What happened to raising your kids right and making them own up for their actions?

I took the MSF class in 2000. I had never been on a bike in my life. It was a great class. I need to take it again.

I had Doc's work on a shotgun that was not working. It is now working. They are always nice to me when I'm in there. I would go back. That's my $.02

Re: Pocket Carry Question
I also pocket carry a S&W 642 99% of the time. It is my primary mode of carry. I know the drawbacks of it, but I have not found an easier way that works for me. As far as pocket holsters go, this one has been great for me. Tuff Products http://www.tuffproducts.com/home.php?cat=268 http://www.tuf...
