I am sure glad you survived. I can’t even imagine the pain and side effects you had to have, but now you know just go to the hospital.
I want go into my hospital visits you can just read in the prayer sections about just few of my many stays due to my heart. There are some doctors who have zero bed manners, but that is a small number. Most really want to help you. As said above pain meds are just about over. I see a pain management doctor ever month and there are a lot hoops jump through.
Get better and still praying.

Re: Help identifying rattler!!
I am afraid something bad may have happened. He doesn’t have an email address on file. I have looked at several of his post and I can’t even find the area he lives in. Still praying.

Re: Help identifying rattler!!
When we lived in East Texas we bought a house. I still own it and it sets on Lake Palestine. Because of the copperheads and water moskins my wife kept a shovel at the front door and back door. Back then I had a .410 Snake Charmer just to be a help.

Re: Help identifying rattler!!
Bad decision to ride out. You need to ride out the hospital a long time ago unless you plan on being a snake handling preacher.
I also agree with lightningrocks it is a western diamond back.

DescriptionThe western diamondback rattlesnake or Texas diamond-back is a venomous rattlesnake species found in the southwestern United States and Mexico. It is likely responsible for the majority of snakebite fatalities in northern Mexico and the greatest number of snakebites in the U.S. No subspecies are currently recognized.
