Easily remedied by always unloading and opening the action of the firearm before leaving the line.
Semi-auto's= Slide locked back (if it is designed to do so), or placement an item such as a pencil, folded piece of paper, etc...between the action and chamber if it is not.
Bolt action= Bolt open and all the way back.
Revolver= Cylinder open.
Lever action= Action open.
Break open= Action in open position (shotgun, rifle or pistol).
Muzzle loader= With method of ignition empty and exposed for examination.
Well....you get the idea.
