Still no response from my e-mails to my rep and governors office. I guess I will try calling them. I would just like to have my license before my Thanksgiving travels...that would be nice.

I wrote to Governor Perry's office and my state rep. We will see if that helps at all. Hopefully I will get a reply from one of thier offices today.... :???:

I have called DPS twice now. The first time, 2 1/2 weeks ago, they said they were still waiting on my background check. I called again today, and still waiting on my background check. The guy said it normally only takes 60 days, and they have been waiting much longer than that, so he left a note on ...

It has been 99 days since I overnighted my packet to Austin....and it's still "Processing Application". I'm thinkin an e-mail to my rep is in order. What are you guys sayin in your e-mails to get a response so quickly? I don't want to piss them off! lol But seriously...this is getting pret...

My application was turned in August 1st and it still says "Processing Application". I see people around here getting theirs in the mail when they turned theirs in August 15th.....I don't get it...
