While I've carried many a day (not quite legal before CHL) not one of them has ever been fired in anger or in defense of life, limb or property, but, I'm prepared to if necessary. Snip snip. Did you mean to say that you are prepared to fire in anger? While no one here may think twice about that, an...

Re: 31 in a 20 (school zone)
On another note, can I do defensive driving or deferred judification for this? Yes. Both are on a one year cycle. So you can actually get a ticket once every six months and keep them off your record... until the judge starts remembering your name. Even for being in a school zone? Thats a relief. Do...

31 in a 20 (school zone)
Was "speeding" on the way to class today, in lovely Keene. This school zone is about 30 feet long and directly off a highway. Saw the LEO, slowed down, but he pulled out and turned on the lights. Got pulled over, showed the CHL and license, he thanked me for showing that to him, asked if I...

I set my sights point blank at 200, which puts them right on at 50, lower closer than 50 and higher from 50 to 125. I'm new to rifle sighting, and I'm not understanding that at all. If you sight in at 200, how is 50 going to be right on? I thought if you sighted in at 200, 200 would be right on, an...

My point is, I've seen a lot of shootings I'd consider excessive force. The guy being shot at simply didn't have a chance in hell. If I empty a mag into a BG, or two mags that I'd usually carry, you know the LEOs that come to investigate the situation would raise eyebrows, and rightly so. It doesn't...
