I think the important thing to remember about Trump, is that he has never stood a remote chance of being elected. That's why Hillary picked him as her "fix". You have to go back, but Trump has continually been a huge supporter of both Bill & Hillary, and only ceased that support when Hillary needed him to torpedo any conservative chances at the White House again.
