My G36 behaved weirdly: 1st two hundred rounds was flawless; FMJ, JHP (several brands)all fed and ejected witout a single problem. From 200 to 400 rds I had several FTF/FTE, maybe as many as 1 in 20. From round 400 up again never a problem and I have over 2000 rds through it now.
