Sorry to interject with bad news...U.S. military bases on foreign soil ARE NOT considered U.S. soil as it relates to the 14th Amendment. It has been nearly a week since DPS told me my CHL was issued and the website began to reflect said status. Any idea as to why it takes more than 3-4 mailing days for it to get delivered in Texas? I receive mail from both coasts in 2-3 days. Just frustrated I guess now that the goal is so close.

Informed this AM that my license was approved and active. Not bad...only took 49 days following receipt at DPS. How long before I can expect to see it in the mail? USPS I assume. Thanks.
