Welcome Talonap. +1 on the Sherman-Denison area. The towns aren't too large, but you still have all the emenities of the larger cities. Two hospitals, plenty of shopping areas for the wife. Plus the lakes are great if your into fishing. Lake Texoma offers all types of fishing, even the occasional walleye as I've seen brought to one of our bassclub weighins. And there is always Lake Ray Roberts for the big bass. Plenty of hunting oppurtunities from dove to pigs to deer. The weather can be Hot in the Summer, but mild with an occasional light snow in the Winter. For the most part, the tornadoes seem to stay just to the West and North of us. I haven't heard of any issues with the Leos and CHL'ers and there is a decent indoor range in Sherman and a cheap self service outdoor range close (10-15 mins away.)
