So................. ;-) Are Aliens flying around in UFO's for real? "rlol"
NICE!
Can't wait to get an answer myself, I been seein' things lately.

Probably just a weather balloon

I'm surprised, my plastic showed up today  Hate the picture though, I look like a thug, after that picture I actually started shaving my face so I didnt look quite like that  Not sure if I'll do a Wally walk or not, I cant get out of that place without spending 150 bucks, not to mention I'm not a fan of crowds at all. That 150 bucks would be better spent finding a shoulder holster so I can carry in my work uniform ( only way I see to do it ). But I'm itching to go out somewhere, so I might go tonight. We'll see..... So... I'm officially out of here :anamatedbanana

I know putting the gun in the console of the truck when I go somewhere, then taking it back out was getting old. Typically took 2 trips back and forth to the truck since I always have other things in my hands. Been doing that for a long time, but now it will be on me and I wont have to worry about it..

Edit: Went to Wally World for about an hr and half.. Uneventful as it should be.. Driving with a gun on your backside though, makes for a great lumbar  I needed it after standing in line to get out for 30 mins :???:

Re: December applications

Is it here yet?

Congrats Tireshred, lucky dog, they over nighted yours  Way up in here in Tx it takes 2 days just to get anything from Dallas, and it's only a 6 hr drive. No idea on how long it takes to get something from Austin, but I'm sure it's several days. Now if they were requesting money, I'm sure it would be here the next day

Dbex, I bet they are telling you that because they dont want to contact them.. Might be one of those things where they wont contact a agency on a back ground check??? Who knows, no rhyme or reason to what they do.

Re: December applications

Checked the DPS website this morning, just out of habit actually.. Rather than seeing Application Processing, I saw Application Completed

Now I'll let myself get excited and impatient
:anamatedbanana :anamatedbanana :woohoo

I suspect the plastic should be here in about 3-4 days..

I've figured out how to carry in casual clothes, still need to figure out how to carry with my work uniform though..

Re: December applications

Nothing here yet, same 'ol Processing App. thing... I'll e-mail my state rep towards the end of the week. I learned a long time ago that if someone wants you to do something, ya better hurry up and do it. But when ya ask someone to do something for you, just sit around and wait a while, then a little longer, then a while longer and ya might get a result.. Doesn't matter if you paid for it, or it's free, thats just the way it is.. So... I'm not getting in any hurry. Now if it gets around 100 days ya might hear me complain, a lot

Re: December applications

Nothin yet, and really the past 50 or so days have gone by pretty fast for me. Been busy at work, then at night I'm busy with the side job of working on computers. So I really haven't had time to think about the CHL, that doesnt mean I dont check the status every night after I get home though

I'm not expecting to get it until late Feb, early March.. Whats funny is when I ordered my holster it was on a 10 week backorder, I thought great, should show up about the time I get my CHL.. My holster shipped in 2 weeks :smilelol5: But it's well fitted to the gun now, it's been sitting in the holster for a few weeks now

I dont get in a hurry or excited about much anymore, so when it gets here, it gets here.

Re: December applications

The PIN# is supplied by DPS. If you did the online app. you should have gotten it.. If not, it will be mailed to you once they start to process your application. Once you have the pin# you can look on their website and see the same message everyday  .

The # your talking about is just your ID number..
