It's very rare that I take one of my vehicles to a shop, I do all of my own work.. The only time I do is when it's warranty work, and I leave nothing in the truck. Even my service truck, it takes a few hrs to unload everything out of it, about 20 K worth of parts, and who knows how much in tools and what not.. Last time I had to leave the truck at the dealership, it sat outside for a week in a bad part of town. I asked several times for them to put it inside at night, but they wouldnt ( it's also the last time the truck went to that dealership )....


Never leave anything inside a vehicle your dropping off somewhere, even more so a gun... When a customer leaves a vehicle at my shop, I request they take everything out of it. It's a pain, but I dont want to be responsible, accused of stealing stuff or anything else.. It's just better for everyone that way.
