This general response to this true story is typical. Police officer that took the information keep having to stop and wipe his eyes.
(thank Gosh I didn't tell anyone about those Buns of Steel videos )

Re: Have you ever actually drawn your CHL Weopon in self def
Once yes, once no...in both cases did not have to discharge weapon
1) working at an art foundry alone in metal building (west side of Houston) about 5-6 yrs ago. Guy comes in and tried to rob the place with a knife. Draw but did not have to fire as he yelled a cuss word and turned and ran. Police report on file.
2) Came out of a gas station on Hwy 6 West side Houston about 9 yrs ago or so. No bells or whistles and peacefully not paying attention. Young man came up behind me and sucker punched me in my right kidney. Opps.....carry small of the back IWB holster that held my gun in the 3 o'clock position and a spare mag at the 10 o'clock position. He broke his hand on my gun. As I felt the hit, I turned. The guy's hand obviously broken, screamed and dove into a waiting car where he and his friend driving took off. Got plate. Police report....car stolen. No draw, no fire.
