I was the foreman on a murder trial last year in Brazoria county where we convicted the defendant of 2nd degree murder. Once the verdict was read, the judge polled the jury and asked a few questions as well. Instead of using our juror numbers, he referred to us by our names, and asked additional questions to me by saying my name at Lear 3 times.
The murderers family and friends were there and every single one of them now know my name. Needless to say I was quite uncomfortable.
I could not even begin to imagine how these ladies on the GZ JURY must be feeling now.

As much as I want to believe otherwise, I am leaning this way too. Plan for the worst and hope for the best.anygunanywhere wrote:Which is why Zimmerman is so screwed.bulinm wrote:The lead investigator testified yesterday about the "outside influences" on the investigation.
If anyone thinks that juries can't be fixed then all this is just a fantasy.
Again, we will see.

Wow...good job defense.fickman wrote:Wow. Defense just got a witness for the state (a resident in the neighborhood) - who testified to something new today that she'd never said previously - to admit that she signed the change.org petition "Prosecute the Killer Who Killed Our Son" (paraphrase). Also painted a clear picture without saying it that her testimony has been groomed and coached over the last few months.
