Re: deranged shooter in workplace DHS wisdom
Remember, if you surrender to fear, the terrorists win.
When evacuating, pull over and enjoy a nice sunset.
Or a thermonuclear blast. Whatever's handy.

Re: This was never going to happen to me.....
....but I have to admit that I am acquiring quite a worthless drawer of holsters that I am never going to use. I have had my plastic for about 2 months and I simply can not find a comfortable, CONCEALABLE, way to carry my non pro pt111. I am an athletic guy with very little body fat...6'1'' 210lbs....

She acted like a punk and was treated like one. If she wants to be treated like a lady she should act like one.
If the driver was a minority youth acting the same way and the cop tased him, it wouldn't be news. Why should she get special treatment because of sexism or racism or other isms?

Re: oncor tree cutting
oncor rep patrick hogan supposedly said they could tresspass on your private property any time without permission from the land owner. I see an exemption in 30.05 for peace officers. I see an exemption for firemen and EMS for "official duty under exigent circumstances." I don't see an exe...

Re: Opinion on Carry at a mall near me
An argument could be made that Sears is a separate premises from the mall based on separate management. The problem is you might have to make that argument in court.bobbyb0322 wrote:Would this then mean that I can carry in those businesses so long as I don't enter the actual mall portion of the building?

Re: I need a man bag... help
I think the simple answer would be a laptop case in an office environment or a range bag or rucksack in the field.

Re: WTB Ruger 10/22
That looks like a nice gun but I want a 10/22 for a project. Many of the big box sports/outdoors stores sell the 10/22 under $200 every day, and they go for even less during the periodic sales. I recall seeing them on sale for $150 NIB at Bass Pro last year, so I want to pay less than that for a use...

Amazon used to carry new copies of Unintended Consequences but you can still order it from the publisher (Accurate Press) for the cover price.

WTB Ruger 10/22
I want a Ruger 10/22 for a project. The condition of the wood doesn't matter (a cracked stock is no problem) provided the gun shoots straight. PM me with details. I'm in the Houston area. Thank you.

Re: Dumb Question of the Day
I wear my seatbelt even though my car has airbags, but I don't feel the need to install a roll cage in my car. However, I don't think a peace officer should be permitted to hassle a driver who does.
