Re: Illegal 30.06 signs
We're not talking about walking past non-compliant signs. The OP is about a guy he knows who intentionally makes non-compliant 30.06 signs for people who come in asking for them. He knows how they are supposed to be done, but because he knows how they're supposed to be but the client doesn't he jus...

Re: Illegal 30.06 signs
You have a point, but in this case, the printer knows exactly how the signs are to be done to be compliant, and he intentionally does them wrong to skirt the law at his client's expense. It's not like he's ignorant about how it's supposed to be done. I find this man to be untrustworthy. Wow this tu...

Re: Illegal 30.06 signs
while i understand what he is doing.. something in me says this is morally wrong..... not ignoring the illegal 30.06 signs but a guy knowingly selling them non compliant signs.... I know when I order things I expect them to be complaint with specs.. take any of the guns you own. When you order a gu...

Re: Illegal 30.06 signs
That is what I thought, I was just curious. At least according to him, if places order signs from him, unless they specify the exact deminsions, text size, wording, and all according to what the law states, they will always be non compliant...

Illegal 30.06 signs
OK I have searched but can not find what I am wanting to know. How many of you ignore illegal 30.06 signs? I talked to a guy who prints these signs for people and he intentionally makes the signs the wrong size. He is also a CHL holder and says this way he does not have to worry about getting busted...

Re: Rural HOA and open carry
Being on a BOD for my HOA, what you need to do is address it with them. If it is not in the CCR's then it is not against the HOA rules. That being said there rules only go as far as what everyone else would say about it in the entire HOA. Meaning if someone complains to the sherrif, they have given ...

You can do lots of reading on this over at http://www.xdtalk.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Overall, if you are getting a trigger job done by someone reputable, you shouldn't have a problem. Remember that it has been argued in court that a trigger job helps you to be m...

Re: Trigger Work
The reason I ask is that my instructor mentioned that it is never a good idea to mess with your carry gun. Especially the trigger pull weight. So you guys think the basic kit is ok to get rid of overtravel and reset but stay away from the pull. I have actually heard good things from people about all...

Trigger Work
Ok guys and gals, I have searched and searched but can not find this subject.
I love my xd's but want a better trigger with less travel and play. If these are going to be my carry weapons what do you think. I am only looking for the travel mainly I did not want to reduce trigger poundage.

I agree but...BTin wrote:I don't believe a car stereo is equal to a person's life... But I am not going to shoot an unarmed person like this. Just my humble opinion.
How do you know?
What is to stop them from coming back more and more...I think the message was sent loud and clear.

For me, just a hobby (knapping flint arrowheads, knives, spears, etc..) Actually, I use flint, obsidian, chert, jasper, novaculite, agate, etc..... but that would make a really long name. Yeah, I know...........kinda weird. :???: http://i110.photobucket.com/albums/n92/flintknapper/pileofrocks1Small...
