Most often I use a camel back to carry when I run. Not the fastest deployment, but a lot faster than leaving it in the car.

Sometimes I'll just wrap my shirt around my 642 and hold it in my left hand (pointed down). Very quick to get to and still pretty well concealed. No one's ever said anything to me at least.
