A friend bought the "optics ready" Bushmaster from Academy. I have to say that it is a very good shooter and has a very smooth trigger compared to my RRA standard trigger.

On the other hand, I picked up an LMT complete lower. It was more expensive with the upgraded trigger, grip, and stock, but it is very sweet. I hardly even have to think about the trigger pull when shooting groups.

My only other suggestion is to get one with the removable carry handle. It makes it a breeze to mount a scope later if you find you want to.
