Re: "Waiting Room"
Are there multiple versions of a 30.06 sign? I saw reference on texas3006.com about an old 30.06 sign referencing and old chl law. Is this an example of one of the old 30.06 signs? Or is this simply a 30.06 sign referencing the wrong law?

Re: "Waiting Room"
No, it was quite a large sign and those letters were definitely at least one inch tall. The sign was at least 2 feet tall and 3 feet wide.Morgan wrote:Scale is hard to tell in your picture, but are those letters 1" tall? It sure doesn't look like that's a legal sign.

Re: "Waiting Room"
I saw it at the University Center for Community Health here in San Antonio. 701 S Zarzamora St. It is a health care facility so I half-way expected it to be posted before I got there. I actually took a picture of it lol.that1otherdude wrote:will381796 wrote:
Nope. And you're right. I saw my first valid 30.06 sign on Thursday and there's no way somebody paying attention could miss it. But just the entire mentality of having to look takes some getting used to. I look for even non-compliant 30.06 signs simply because I choose not to patronize an establishment with that stance on law-abiding citizens.
out of curiosity.. where did you see the 30.06 sign?

Besides, I doubt most of the employees in a place that is posted by company policy even know or care about that aspect of the law. Had you ever heard of 30.06 before you decided to get a CHL?

Re: "Waiting Room"
Congrats. It's taking me a while for me to get used to stopping and reading all those signs on the windows outside buildings to make sure I'm legal. Once or twice I've gone into a building and forgot to check, but luckily they weren't posted. Other than that, I've enjoyed my last week as a CHL holder.that1otherdude wrote:today is a good day!!

Re: "Waiting Room"
When my CHL instructor created my TR100 form, there was some error with the number he assigned me. He did not go into specifics, but two of the digits were transposed. I assume that meant that the number I was originally assigned had previously been assigned to someone else's form.that1otherdude wrote: What is a TR100 error?
