100% agree. Open carry doesn't 'carry' much weight if I'm still restricted in my daily life of where I can carry. I'll take either, but campus carry needs to get done. Original hb308 should get done.

ditto. Legally carry more places, and campus carry, are much more important to the majority than open carry.
Not a reply to you personally but in general the continued sentiment irks me. I'm sure serious efforts were made for all legislation.

I'm for campus carry and unrestricted carry but are we still crying over this?
I am not boo-hooing over anything. Just stating a self realized fact. Unrestricted carry and campus carry are more important
to me than being able to prance around like a peacock with a gun on my hip. I believe OCT and OCTC have damaged the image
of gun owners and sportsmen alike. Seeing someone that OC does not scare me, bother me or upset me in any way. However,
their "force-it-down-the-public's-throat" tactics got me po'd because it affected our entire (gun) community. but, I digress.

In fact, I wish open carry was not the issue it's been the past couple of years as it only fuels the unfounded arguments and fears of those that opposed campus carry.

Open carry means nothing to me really, I can still carry concealed. What's important is my children, friends and coworkers being able to protect themselves while at work or in class.

I detect a sense of urgency.
I can't be on the computer etc all day due to work. But, I do check-in a few times a day when I am able.
Checked my email and had this same "Urgent" post from TSRA. Glad you posted this, because I came here to
check and see if Dr Cotton had commented or made a "call to action" post of his own. I'll wait until he sounds the
alarm. Then act.
Also, want to say thanks to the guys that keep up with exactly what's going on this session and posting here.
It makes it real easy for guys like me to catch up with the day to day events (or non-events) taking place in Austin.
I've been highly disappointed in several past sessions over stalled pro gun legislation. There should be no excuse for
it this session. Period.
