Well, called them today for an update ....
"Everything is complete, it's in the final process now". Please call again in a couple weeks."
Not sure what the final process is, but it sure sounds better than "waiting on background check", lol.

Oddly enough, a friend of mine that took the class with me... got his plastic Friday. He's not even a citizen, (no not from Mexico... Europe). He got the dreaded "missing info" letter as I did, except they accepted his photo from the same printer mine was from, but needed a copy of his gre...

Status back to "Processing Application" today.

Nearly a month just to get the application typed into the system, PIN issued.
Odd, got an email from them today (Saturday). Maybe they are working some OT to get caught-up, lol.
