If she is determined enough, a little weight conditioning will go a long way.

Then I would teach her to hold the slide in place and push the grip forward to rack the slide. I have had a lot of success teaching women this method.

If this does not work I think I would have her go with a wheelgun.

Finally, if auto is a must, I would go to Glockmiester and get one of their variable spring kits for a Glock. As I recall, these kits have recoil springs from about 14 lbs and up. I would then work up a load that functioned 100% with the weakest possible spring in the kit. However, I do not recommend altering a gun in this manner and using it as a carry piece.
