Thanks "Dave-in-Austin" - probably doesn't matter now. It is a teacher workshop (don't know how that fits as a school event), but also discovered that we are traveling in the school owned Suberban so that cuts me out of even getting to the Convention Center with my equipment.

Can anyone tell me if the Austin Convention Center is posted against concealed carry? Thanks
