Re: Thoughts on a spare magazine holster

Prior to ordering my Fobus Paddle magazine pouch I used a nylon Buck knife case for my Taurus PT-111, Millennium Pro 9mm. It just appeared to be a Buck knife.

Re: Range report

Another 50 error free rounds from my Taurus PT145 today. Shot at "defensive" ranges only, 20 rounds at 10 feet and 30 rounds at 15 feet. After 49 in the black bullseye, my stance got sloppy and I put round #50 on the white. :x I'm left eye dominant, carrying on the right side. (Safety is ...

Re: ammo on sale

Where I'm living the Walmart hasn't had any 9mm, .45 cal nor .40 cal for quite some time. A manager at Walmart told me the ammo was even on back order for the distribution centers for Walmart. I went by Gander Mountain and they had the 115 gr JHP 9mm boxes of 50 (Federal Cartridge) for $60.00 a box;...

You shouldn't apologize for something as important as gun safety. I don't really care how the guy got shot in the foot, but I do care that someone is concerned enough to post something like this to make people think of gun safety. Good job! :clapping:

The S&W Model 29 .44 Magnum is no longer for sale. The delema has passed and he is keeping his pistols. :tiphat: Too bad he sold his AR-15 though. :cryin

Re: Why is it such a PAIN to get a TX CHL?

I looked at the Utah application form and I don't see where you have to be a resident of Utah. Can all this be done by mail? What about the approved course that is required? I hold the Utah CCW permit and I conducted everything by mail other than the course. It'll take you awhile to get the Utah al...

The correct answer is "Northern."

Ya, I guess you can't get much further north without being in Canada.

Re: What to get for my CCW?

I carry the Taurus PT111, Millennium Pro 9mm. It conceals well and I've been to the range many times and I have run a lot of ammo through it without any malfunctions. For the cost, I don't think you can go wrong.

The attachment is from one of my sessions at the range during rapid fire.
