Re: Time for Another Elm Fork Skeet Shoot

One more thing - better check the status of Elm Fork Range before Saturday. You realize they are so named because they are located on the Elm Fork of the Trinity River. Web site says they are currently CLOSED DUE TO FLOOD.

Last time we had this much rain, several years ago, they were closed for weeks before the water went down.

I may have to work. If I can get out of it, I will be there!

The Annoyed Man wrote:By the way, what did you replace your thumb with?
Since you have somewhat of a medical background - I had a trapeziectomy and ligament reconstruction using the abductor pollicis longus tendon.

For the rest of us, they removed the bone at the base of the thumb, due to advanced arthritis, and replaced it with a rolled up tendon from my forearm. And yeah, it hurt like, well, a whole bunch.

Have not picked up a shotgun since thumb replacement in December, and ready to try it out. If available on the day y'all pick, I am in!
Don't let her fool you boys. She's a ringer.

Didn't say I couldn't break a few every now and then. Just said I haven't done it in a while. ;-)
And you have to admit, those diagrams are downright complicated!
