If you never changed the address on your driver's license, and if you were able to receive mail at your permanent residence (i.e., your parents' home), then you do NOT have to list it.

DPS is only concerned with changes to your permanent residence address.

I specifically asked, at instructor renewal, "if my son spent 6 years at college and lived in 12 different apartments during that time, what does he put on his application?"

And Marion said, "if you received mail for him at your house, then he never changed his permanent residence and he does not have to list those addresses on his application".
