I've also heard good things about the SIG DAK (DAO) trigger, and Sig makes a P220 Carry (the compact model) with that system. Both my Sigs (W. German P220 and P6/P225) are DA/SA, but I'm looking at a 40S&W P229 with the DAK trigger for my next handgun purchase.Snap E Tom wrote:Another vote for the P220. The small size and low recoil are pretty much mutually exclusive requirements, but if I were looking for guns that were the closest to your criteria I'd look at compact polymer guns--XD45 compact, M&P45c, Glock 30.
