Re: Leaving CCW in car
I have been using a Center of Mass combination lock box for about a year now. It stays under the passenger seat tied with a cable to the seat supports. The box is large enough to easily hold my full size Beretta 92. The combo lock eliminates the need to carry another key. It works first time - every...

Re: Additional Slots open
Charles, unfortunately, I am creating some more open slots for the mini-clinics. I am having to cancel my trip to the CHL Forum Day at PSC. Explanation sent in a PM to you (I think) this afternoon. Thank you for all of your work in setting up the Forum Day. Maybe I will able to make it next year. In...

Re: Has anyone here ever drawn there firearm in defense?
Nope, not yet anyway. But not a week goes by that the "opportunity" doesn't present itself to me. My wife and I are the caretakers of my late parents vacant house, which when built sixty years ago was in a bucolic country setting. After almost sixty years of urban encroachment, and demogra...

Re: Registration for 2009 TexasCHLforum Day at PSC begins Sunday
Thank you for straightening out all of the double and triple bookings, Mr. Cotton. I hope it is "operator error" too instead of a software problem. If I double tapped the registration form, my sincere apologies. See you in October!

Re: Registration for 2009 TexasCHLforum Day at PSC begins Sunday
Computer problems signing up, or maybe it's just operator error :???: Me thinks it may be a software glitch?? I signed up for seven events. I am almost positive that I submitted only one registration for each event, but three of the registration confirmations I received via email had me double booke...

I think that I found the text OP is referring to. HR 3200 is in PDF format with both page & line numbers that you can relate to Rick Joyner's text. The website is: http://www.energycommerce.house.gov/Pre ... /aahca.pdf.

Re: Wireless problems
Have you tried replacing the Ethernet cable that runs between the modem and the router? I was experiencing the same problem as you a couple of weeks back. The quality of the wireless connection would vary from zero to moderately slow, never "blazing fast." At first, I thought the IP server...

Re: Left SIG for Beretta 92FS
Congratulations on your purchase. You now have a classic. Despite my user name, I too love my 92FS. I have had it for about 18 years now, and it is still the smoothest working, most accurate handgun that I have had the privilege to shoot, plus it looks purty

Awwllllright! Plastic came yesterday, finally. :woohoo Wally Walk in the works, as well as a Costco Constitutional. Take heart folks. I honestly thought that by the time I got my CHL, it would be irrelevant as "only "outlaws would have guns." A fact that some of you in the Waiting Roo...

Ross & Dottie Bransford with CHL-Texas.com. The class was held at Lone Star Gun Range near Lockhart. Good class. Great presentation. Ross keeps the class awake with all kinds of "what-if" scenarios.

Re: January Applicants
Ok, it has been three weeks since DPS received my completed paperwork along with a cashier's check for the fee. I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas morning (read impatient). Couldn't stand it any longer, so I emailed DPS this afternoon requesting a PIN. They responded a couple of hours later say...
