Checked this morning and got the good news....finally!
I think my 60 days was reset on March 12, so it came in under the next 60 day period. Not too bad if you ask me.

Re: January Applicants
No, thanks for the information. I think it is interesting how some agents are much more willing to disclose information, and others are just trying to get you off the phone. If they would be more forthcoming as to what is going on, there would probably be less calls.

Re: January Applicants
Have you ever carried on the ankle before? It can be limiting depending on what type of shoe / pant you are wearing. I have had better success (at least around the house) with something ITWB, especially if you are planning on carrying a smaller gun.

It is probably the dates of your residences. If there is any unaccounted for time between living situations, it wont pass.

Re: January Applicants
Checked my status this morning and got the dreaded "application incomplete, detailed letter sent". I am really irritated about this, I made sure everything was filled out, and I assumed the morons I took the class with knew how to take the pictures. Who knows. On the bright side, it seems like things are moving fast, I mean I just got my PIN on Feb 7.

Re: January Applicants
As I said before, it is taking the DPS 3-4 weeks to even get your application into the system.

Re: January Applicants
I emailed DPS yesterday for my PIN. They responded within a few hours and gave me one. Problem was I couldn't log in. So I called, and apparently I gave them the wrong number (I thought it was my account number, but it was really something else). Anyway, this number I gave them was SOMEONE ELSE'S account #, and they emailed me that persons PIN - what attention to detail on their part. Either way, my DL# and SSN did not bring anything up in their system. They said applications are taking 3-4 weeks to be entered into the system....
