One thing I did notice the links to change address, report lost card were there one day as it was not before. I called the week prior and the lady told me my application was being processed. i was totally shocked to get it in the mail today!

Re: New online CHL application & procedures
It doesn't hurt to call DPS and ask. You may get lucky and the app is still in the system.alrobjr wrote:My wife has her CHL packet that we applied for online 3yrs. ago and paid $140.00 . My question is she wasn't ready to get her CHL at that time but she now has her pistol and is ready to procede with the test , can she use the same application pack or do we have to apply and pay for a new one ?

Re: New online CHL application & procedures
I would take the class now. My CHL was set to expire Sep 2. I took the class with my wife in Dec and submitted online 3/25. Plastic in hand 5/2. Wouldn't think you would get it back in less than 2 weeks.Locksmith wrote:I am concerned...
I understand the new law will take effect September 1, 2013.
That is going to be exactly "15 days" before my license expires!!!
Will I have time to successfully renew before my license expires?
Will I have to worry about not being able to carry while waiting for my renewal to go into effect?
Should I take a class to avoid this problem even though I shouldn't have to?
I am worried because I do not go anywhere unarmed ever.
Thanks
