Coincidentally, I have the PX4 SC and G27 also.
I appreciate your story and need to look into this. I haven't yet fired or disassembled my Beretta.
And I don't think I will.
For a different reason I have pretty much decided to sell it.
I hate the safety. It's way too big and sharp to pocket carry. That was why I bought it.
The G27 has a much better shape for pocket carry.
