I didn't say I got mine a month before she did, I said I got mine a month FASTER... brolazypineapple wrote:you said you were a feb app. And she was a march app.
You bugged them and your got yours quicker buy 30 days or so.
I think that's the same bro.

We ran a little experiment in my house since I was very anxious for my license and my wife was interested but not quite as obsessed. As soon as I hit day 60, I was all over it. I called DPS every 10 days or so, I emailed and called my state rep and state senator on many occasions. I bugged the crap out of them. I received my "Active" notification on Day 143 (Harris County).
We made no contacts on my wife's whatsoever. She had no issues with the paperwork just as I didn't as she only had checks in Harris County just as I did.
The only difference was that I was an early February application and she was early March. She received her "active" notice on Day 179.
So, while perhaps it should be taken with a barrel of salt, in our situation, bugging them allowed me to get it a month faster than she got hers.
And I also gave you the number of days - 143 for me... 179 for her. That is a 36 day difference. Last I was in school, 36 is different than 0.
So, to clear up any confusion for those that need it spelled out... I received mine in at the beginning of July and she is currently waiting for her's to arrive. By MY count, that is 2 months after. When one subtracts the month difference between when we took the classes, I still got mine a month faster.
